SCADA CYBER SECURITY WORKSHOP
November 3-4, 2010, SMU (Southern Methodist University), Dallas, TX
The SCADA Cyber Security Workshop is a one day event which is focused on SCADA security issues in both government and private infrastructure www.nacmast.com/scada-workshop.
A new feature of the this workshop is a “plug fest” to be held on November 3, 2010. The plug fest event is a follow-up to a previous event sponsored by Infracritical, Inc. in May, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois. The intent of the plug fest is allow control system engineers and researchers to meet in a laboratory environment for vulnerability testing of various industrial control system (ICS) hardware and software components. We encourage plug fest attendees to bring any type of ICS hardware and software. We will use a network Fuzzer to test for vulnerabilities and also encourage attendees to propose tests to be conducted. Identified vulnerabilities will be reported to vendors. Generalized plug fest results will be reported out during the main SCADA workshop on November 3. A email list and website will be created to support pre-event planning.
We are looking for speakers and poster presentations addressing a broad range of SCADA security issues in the following focus areas:
* Attack Vectors
* Cyber Physical Security
* Emerging Threats
